Guides & Tutorials

Three quick playbooks to help you read the hourly price, configure alerts, and plan your appliances now that the production build is live.

1

Understand the Daily Curve

Use PrecioLuz as your hourly companion.

  1. Open the “Today” tab. The top card shows the average price, cheapest slots, and the current hour highlighted.
  2. Tap the chart to reveal precise €/kWh values. Below it you will find a heatmap with valle/llano/punta colors.
  3. Switch the tariff selector to compare PVPC with any custom rate you configure.
  4. Save your favorite windows (e.g., 14:00‑16:00) so they show up in widgets and emails.
Tip: long-press the graph to copy the hourly value or export the entire day as CSV.
2

Create Smart Alerts

Be the first to know when electricity is cheap.

  1. Go to Alerts → “New rule”. Choose between threshold (€/kWh) or time-based notifications.
  2. Select delivery method: push, email, or shared link. Shared links make it easy to alert roommates.
  3. Add optional conditions such as “only during weekends” or “only if the savings exceed 0.50 €”.
  4. Preview tomorrow’s schedule to confirm the alert fires the way you expect.
Tip: combine two alerts—one for super cheap hours, one for “avoid peaks”—to balance your usage automatically.
3

Plan Appliances & Estimate Savings

Build scenarios before turning anything on.

  1. Add your appliances with their runtime and consumption (e.g., EV charger: 7 kWh over 4 hours).
  2. Drag them across the timeline to see total cost differences between peak and valley hours.
  3. Use the “Compare plan” toggle to estimate the bill for PVPC vs. your contracted rate.
  4. Export the schedule to Calendar or share it with the household via a link.
Tip: the scenario view keeps the last three simulations so you can revisit them later.
