PrecioLuz keeps every PVPC hour within reach

The iOS app is out of beta and mirrors the three core tabs you rely on every day: the hour-by-hour histogram, the daily analytics board, and the monthly heatmap. All of them are powered by the same official PVPC feed you see inside Red Eléctrica.

  • Real-time kWh labels from midnight to 23:00.
  • Automatic highlights for the cheapest, priciest, and next affordable slot.
  • Heatmap calendar so you can plan laundry days weeks in advance.

Three tabs, one electricity coach

The iOS navigation bar mirrors how households actually check PVPC: look at the current day, skim the summary, and tap the calendar to see if tomorrow is worth shifting loads. Every panel below uses production screenshots from the live app.

Day tab

24-hour histogram with instant alerts

The “Día” tab lays out every hour from 00:00 to 23:00 with green, amber, and red bars. Dawn prices hover around 0.12 €/kWh, midday gets warmer, and 19:00 spikes at 0.318 €/kWh with a lightning badge so you never miss the most expensive slot.

  • Interactive bars synced with the live PVPC curve.
  • Bottom navigation keeps Day · Summary · Calendar one tap away.
  • Designed for quick glances before turning on heavy appliances.

Summary tab

KPIs that explain each weekday

The “Resumen del día” board shows the average (0.192 €/kWh), minimum (0.120), and maximum (0.318) with arrows that instantly tell you if you’re having a cheap or expensive Monday. A grey tip of the day calls out when to concentrate usage—today it points at 04:00.

  • Comparison badge indicates the day is 19.3% pricier than a typical weekday.
  • Grid tiles summarize cheapest hour, most expensive slot, next opportunity, and total range (0.198 €).
  • Helps plan automation rules or manual routines at a glance.

Calendar tab

Heatmap calendar for long-term planning

January 2026 displays green tiles on cheap days, orange tiles on standard ones, and muted greys where data hasn’t loaded yet. Selecting Monday 19 draws a blue outline and surfaces the “CARO” badge with the same stats shown elsewhere, plus the best hour (04:00) and worst hour (19:00).

  • Tap any day to compare instantly without leaving the calendar.
  • Bottom sheet recap helps you pick the next laundry or EV-charging slot.
  • Color palette mirrors the Day tab so context is never lost.
